Creativity is just connecting things. When you ask creative people how they did something, they feel a little guilty because they didn’t really do it, they just saw something. It seemed obvious to them after a while. That’s because they were able to connect experiences they’ve had and synthesize new things. And the reason they were able to do that was that they’ve had more experiences or they have thought more about their experiences than other people.

Unfortunately, that’s too rare a commodity. A lot of people in our industry haven’t had very diverse experiences. So they don’t have enough dots to connect, and they end up with very linear solutions without a broad perspective on the problem. The broader one’s understanding of the human experience, the better design we will have.

Just finished redoing my room this weekend! Looks a lot better than the way before with my dresser that I've had since the first grade. Hope to make more improvements on it soon!

I had a sketch of this image above. I didn't really enjoy the looks of it so I upgraded it.
Turned out pretty decent with all the additions.

I finally finished the collage on my second wall in my room! Took me awhile, but I finished! Now I just need to upgrade my room with a few other things and everything should be good from there. :)
Homework and studying - I'm running a bit behind on, but other than that school is going well.

I'll update this post later tonight!

Downtown Montreal, Canada.
I wish I could of explored Canada the way I wanted to over the summer.
here's so much beauty in other places. I plan on traveling other countries
sometime. Especially Europe! Hopefully.

All this homework I've had so far is killing me. Not really but accounting
homework makes me a little sad. I always think I've done the problems wrong.

I've decided to mark University of Ottawa off my list of options. I think
I'll stick to the states. Maybe go somewhere in Iowa or something like that.

(My apologies for most of the blank space of the paper.
I tend to draw small and I don't like using the whole sheet.)

Working at Kamakura is probably one of the best things in my life right now.
Lately, I've been in a pretty bad mood, but whenever I go to work, my coworkers always cheer me up.

Another thing that's always able to take my mind off the troubles is
cute things like my Pikachu. He usually likes to hang around in my car.

Time is priceless, but it’s free. You can’t own it, you can use it.
You can spend it. But you can’t keep it. Once you’ve lost it you can never get it back.
